I'd need more information to answer the question. But if you mean, what is the ratio of the number of water molecules in steam to the number of previously liquid state water molecules that were boiled, the ratio is 1:1.

Who are your favorite actors and actresses?

None in particular.

What super high-tech engineering tool did the astronauts use to free the stuck solar panel on Skylab?

(1:1600, Compass. 1 c.f of water becomes 1600 c.f of steam.)

Ah, you were talking 'bout volume. Okay. That's an interesting statistic... I would've guessed 1:400 or so but not 1:1600.

The beginning of time so I could observe the asymmetric breaking of the unified field and watch space/time curve negatively. It would answer so many questions.

Battlestar Galactica 2004

Hugo Grotius (Huigh De Groot) was a Dutch legal scholar, playwright and poet. As a natural law philosopher, he is generally credited as the originator of "natural morality" and the "social contract" theory of the State. His 1609 book promoted idea that seas should be free for the innocent use and mutual benefit of all -- an idea disputed subsequently disputed by some Mercantilists. Grotius's 1625 treatise is acknowledged as the first in international law. More famously, Grotius argued that "property" was only the outcome of social consent, and thus had nothing "inalienable" in it. This conclusion was disputed by Pufendorf.

What's the answer to this riddle?

A ship.

Answer this one; It's a simple physics problem.

Quote:
You stand before 3 lightswitches. One of these switches is able to turn on/off a lightbulb in a room nearby. You can't see in the room but you know the light was turned off all day. You have to find which switch is connected to the lightbulb. In order to find the switch that is connected to the lightbulb, you can do only the following:
Step 1: Use zero or more switches as much as you want.
Step 2: Go to the other room.
Step 3: Tell which switch is connected to the bulb by doing something in the room (=not going outside).
Before you refer to the spoiler try to solve the problem.......

Spoiler
What's the physics part? Heat. Well, actually it's the light bulb. Switch the first switch. You then wait for a minute or two, and then turn it off again. Now switch the second switch and go in the room. One of the following situations takes place:

The light bulb is burning. Now you know that the second switch is the one that is connected the the light bulb.
The light bulb is not burning. Well, go and touch the light bulb. If it is hot, then you now it is the first switch that is connected to the light bulb (this is the switch you let burning for a minute). If it is cold, it is be the third switch that is connected.

As always;

The physics is a matter of heat/light.

If you flip the first switch, wait a couple of minutes, then flip the switch off, then flip the second switch on and enter the room, you will find one of three things.
1. The light is warm, which means the light is connected to the first switch.
2. The light is burning, which means the light is connected to the second switch.
and
3. The light is cold, which means that the light is connected to the third switch.

Answer this riddle.
Bright as diamonds,
Loud as thunder,
Never still,
A thing of wonder.

It's the Coriolis force.

When I was a child my older sister told me, "You can stack chairs as high as the house and I can take off my shoes and jump over them." My younger brother and I dragged dining room chairs out the back door and stacked them up. We couldn't get them higher than my sister but she said that was okay. Then she pulled her stunt, laughing so hard she could hardly jump. Then my brother and I had to drag the chairs back into the house. What did I know - I was only ten.
What joke did a sibling play on you?
