Re: Buck Rogers 35th Anniversary
A nice shot for shot redo (save for the conclusion) of the opening fighter battle from the film Enemy Mine.
Makes sense, since the aliens were called "Drac".
Well done!

Re: Buck Rogers 35th Anniversary
I loved that. I still watch Buck on DVD when the mood takes me. I still get the same pleasure out of it as I did when I first saw it.
Puts a big smile on my face just like your video.

Re: Buck Rogers 35th Anniversary
Thanks Guys.
I have many great child-hood memories of that show and just recently
realized it's 35th Anniversary was this year.
I sent the link to Gil Gerard last night.
and Taranis BIG thanks for sharing that excellent star fighter model.

Re: Buck Rogers 35th Anniversary
one question, did it play smoothly for you all?
It plays smooth on my phone, home pc and tablet and the bitrate is youtube spec (2,500 kbps)
but my intel i5 machine at work..for some reason it plays choppy.
It does have the intel hd graphics though and I heard youtube can
be jumpy with those video cards.

Re: Buck Rogers 35th Anniversary
Wouldn't Mars have been at least partially terraformed by the 25th Century?

Re: Buck Rogers 35th Anniversary
^^good point!
I had used a photo of neptune in an earlier draft, which looked blue but I wanted
to infer that the Directorate station was a Mars perimeter defense
base. If it looked earth like...

Re: Buck Rogers 35th Anniversary
It is hard to believe that it has been 35 year since the show was on.
That was a REALLY COOL video!!! Thank you for sharing it with us!
I use to watch BRTC25 religiously when I was younger!
What GREAT fun those times were!!!

Re: Buck Rogers 35th Anniversary
Very, very cool and outstanding job! Nice to see the Buck Rogers star fighters (the original concept for the vipers) in action again!

Re: Buck Rogers 35th Anniversary
Definitely a smile on my face. Sometimes the mind wanders with the show, or the characters if say eventually when Galactica reached Earth it was the 25th Century. Wilma in a Warrior's outfit...well, the mind wandered like I said.
Here's to you, Buck.
