Default me tv

I wish I had learned this earlier this summer. MeTV has been showing reruns of the original Battlestar Galactica at 7 p.m. US Eastern time on Saturdays.

Default unedited

I thanked Me TV via Twitter for running Battlestar Galactica episodes unedited. It's a change from the chopped up program we saw on SyFy and Ion.

I recall being excited when I finally got the SyFy network so I could watch its BG airings...only to be incredibly disappointed that they were horribly edited down and commercials inserted in the worst of places. I can't recall the dates involved but I think I already had the episodes all on tape or CD so I didn't watch for long. It was too painful.

Sadly this is what my Dad always complained about when it came to Star Trek remastered. I would praise the new CGI and restoration of the show, but Dad would say "Yeh but they cut so much out." :/

Default background noise

Does anyone else think the sound effects and music are being played too loudly on Me TV? Although I know what the actors are saying (there are places where I have the dialogue memorized anyway) I am having trouble hearing what their lines are because the other sounds are so loud.
