Yes. On the left side of the cockpit, there are two panels that slide open to reveal: The ejection plunger, and the tow cable controls, which push out and then pivot 90 degrees and lock into place.
On the right side there are four panels. The ejection plunger, the food dispenser, the liquid dispenser, and the logic core.
The green cover plate on the MFD also slides back.

I just found this website. Don't know if you have seen this or not, it has shots of the actual viper cockpit set with working instruments and such. Great for checking the actual layout of the cockpit...

Tabbi, I don't think that shot is from classic BSG. If I had to guess, it's likely from Space: Above and Beyond. Classic BSG relied upon monochrome vector graphic displays.
Updated: I stand corrected. It does not match the shots of the SAAB hammerheads or dropship cockpits that I could find.

Well, I dunno either, but the center console looks like it has cyrillic writing (thats russian for you GINO fans). *Did I say that outloud?* So it might be from a real airplane?

Kewlies mystery solved. I just found that one and a few airplane pictures on a site called X-planes, fact or fiction... I wasnt sure what it belonged to, but it looked rather scifi...

Ok, looking over that cockpit shot of the classic BSG, the little wheels inside my head have begun to spin! Bad!!!!
I am looking around for any electrical panels, dials, knobs, switches, meters, etc. and I am actually going to outfit the inside of my viper cockpit! I can even get my hands on a small 8" color monitors that I will put in there. I can make a loop of all the scanner shots in BSG and hook up a DVD player and then I can actually have scanners inside my cockpit!!!
When I get to work on it, I'll try to take pics! This is bad!!! As if I don't have anything else to do!!!!

Try going to places like Good Will and if you have them Disabled American Veterans stores, they often have old electronics there for dirt cheap prices.

I work at a college and I have already asked a couple of the electronics instructors for anything they may have, circuit boards, dials, meters, etc. They haven't gotten back in touch with me yet.
BUT, I combed through the cabinets in my classroom and I found some great stuff!! For those who do not know, I am a broadcasting instructor and the goodies I found yesterday have almost outfitted both sides of my cockpit...
Now, there's no way it's going to be an exact match, but I'm trying to approximate things as closely as I can. Already have three push-button switches drilled in my panel and two toggle switches installed. Next up is the hole for a small 3" speaker...this thing is really moving along quickly.
Pics when I can get them up...
Also, Sandy and Don, have you gotten my disc yet?
