They all look so angry. There is such a totally different spirit about this cast, in the publicity photos.

Sick and twisted.
It really makes no sence to me,.... they change Starbuck, make him a her, then take the woman, and make her a butch and macho lesbo misunderstood type.
Go Figure!

Man, they do look angry. Maybe they read the script after they signed on to the remake! That would upset anyone.
I found this article very interesting. Overall, it is not what I would consider positive press for the mini. Once again, the "purists" are being warned not to tune in and the overall tone of the authors remarks is negative. After seeing this, I wrote TV Guide a letter thanking them for informing viewers of the massive changes in store for the remake.
The new mini also got some negative press in the fall TV preview issue of Entertainment Weekly. Basically, they questioned the wisdom of remaking a "Cheesy 70's SCI FI Star Wars rip-off." In that same issue, they raked HBO's Carnivale over the coals (another production that Ron Moore is involved with).

Perhaps they, like Omos, are pissed by the fact that their email boxes are full of angry Emails. That no one told them this new show was designed to be a slap in the face to the old fan base.

Of course. RDM and his cadre of sickos arent trying to entertain, engage, or edify. They are trying to change attitudes. The America is to blame undercurrent, the military is bad undercurrent, and of course the we all must be accepting of every one and thing (unless it's traditional of course) undercurrent. RDM is about as subtil as an avalanche.
