Default From the No One Remembers Battlestar Galactica File

While reading Road+Track, yes Battlestar fans have out side interests…some even raise children. I caught the article on the new Cadillac XLR, it is basically the new generation Corvette with four star hotel comfort and a look to the future.

WTF Jon, what does that have to do with any thing.?

Kim Wolfkill’s tag line for the article….Battlestar Cadillactica. No one remembers the show.

And one of the other car mags decided the Toyota 4 runner front end (new one) looked like a Cylon helmet. I still have to see that SUV....

Hmmmm. the industrial designers of America must have a thing for Galactica, You think?

Yeah, nobody remembers the show. They just remember the Cylons, the vipers, Dirk & Richard (ok, Maren, Jane, Laurette & even Sarah for you boys!)

But no one remembers this show. Bonnie better pack her parachute well.

If no one remembers it, why did RDM* pick it to do?

No offense, but that's a terrible advertising slogan. Doesn't roll off the tongue.

But better proof that some people remember BG...does the phrase "Cylon and Garfunkle" ring a bell?"

I was listening to one of my Mark & Brian tapes from 2001 the other day. One of their callers that morning was using a cell phone with a bad connection. After they let the caller go, Brian says, "I hate it when someone calls in sounding like a cylon." Yeah, no one remembers Galactica.
