Thanks for the link , tho its slow to load (even on broadband) and big on pretty and low on info.

Creature/ weapons/armour by WETA has got to be good. A kiwi at the helm has got to be good (don't know about the Shrek creds tho, I HATE that donkey), but I 'm not convinced Disney can have anything to do with a classic story like this without meddling and kiddiefying it.

"based on the book" always scares me. There is more than enough in this series that could go straight to film and be a hit without fiddling with it for a dumbed down release to fit with cute toys for Xmas.

Uhmm, put me in the deeply skeptical box, and if I find they have stuffed with it I'll go right into the mad as hell box!!

I wonder when they will do The Magician's Nephew (the first book in the Timeline, but the fifth book to be written)
