Radio Galactica is the brainchild of our own Old War Daggit. I understand he's been really busy lately, so if it's offline right now that's probably why. I really don't know, though.

Keep your eyes open, I'm sure he'll announce when it's back.

BTW, welcome to the Fleets, CylonHunter.

Hey thanks every one and once again I'm really sorry for having it off the air for so long. It seems like every time I go to put it up, another thing comes up and I can't. I was hit with a worm on my computer as of late and just when I got rid of that, My Explorer shell started acting up and now when I reboot, my start and icons don't come up. I can get it but as we all know, it's suppose to come up on its own.
I've tried all the suggestions that I could find on the net so now I have to reformat my computer.

As soon as I do, Radio Galactica will be back up and believe me, I miss it too. Hey Kingfish, Thanks for the pat on the back. And sorry again for the wait

I don't know if it's a continuous playing of the audio but
I do know that it plays the audio from the episodes.

I've listened to it a few times. I've heard brief soundbites of Dirk Benedict, Lorne Greene, and other cast members in between the audio from the episodes. OWD should try to get the audio from Richard & Dirk's interview on FOX News as well as the audio from Richard's recent appearance on E! Enteratinment's Star Dates. Richard made a few amusing comments on that show. The two ladies were pretty hot. Seemed like Richard was attempting to impersonate Dirk as Starbuck. A little role reversal, anyone? LOL

What ever I can get, I will play.
I've branched out the station to other sci fi but as far as episodes, I do have all audio versions of the episodes and an audio version of one Galactica 80 episode.( The return of Starbuck ) I've got 4 Simpson’s breaks where 3 mention Galactica and the other mentions nightrider.

I have themes to other Glen Larson shows and many other shows that we may remember from yesteryear like the theme to The Hardy boys Nancy drew mysteries.

I have a few humorous Galactica things that might get a laugh out of a few like the cylons farting to disco music or some episodes re-edited to sound like Cain is beating the hell out of every one in a bar or Sheba beating the hell out of Cassiopeia.

I have the original BBC 12 part airing of Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy and most of the plays that John Delancy and Leonard Nemoy did from the Alien voices series. Two of these play’s are called Spock VS Q.

And I along with a few others from this board have been working on an audio project that you can say will be a little surprise for the fans of Battlestar Galactica when the station does come back up.

I hope I answered most of your questions and I want every one to remember that this station belongs to the fans of Battlestar Galactica or at least it usually does when it's actually running. lol

Thanks
OWD

Thanks shiningstar. I'm in the middle of burning CDs so that I can save content on my computer. Then I'm going to reformat. This means that I will have to download and jump through the hoops of getting a station going again on shout cast but there should be no problem unless they try to tell me that I can't have Radio Galactica because there already is one. lol

Talk to you all soon.
