people can be divided into three groups: those who make things happen, those who watch things happen, and those who wonder what happened.

In these days of low-cut gowns, tight-fitting waists, shorter skirts, sheerer stockings and fig-leaf bathing suits, it takes a lot of willpower for a man to look a woman in the eye. unknown

It's a shame that us ladies can't really echo that sentiment due to the proliferation of "banana hammock" bathing suits worn by men who...shouldn't!

There isn't anything that upsets a person quite as much as having company drop in and see the house looking as it usually is.

BRRRR, poor Rowan. It might be cold here right now (and snowing heavily) but it'll be warm again soon. If you don't like the weather in New England just wait a minute and it'll change.

As for "banana hammock" that's what the boys (they may be in their thirties, but they will ALWAYS be boys) I work with call those Speedo bikini bathing suits that some men wear. Brave men (or foolish men, I suppose).

just saw this over at another BSG site: life is not measured by the breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away. Now that is one great quote.
