Viper Climb - Nothing Fancy
I found this lurking on the hard drive. It was an abandoned test from something I was working on quite a while back, although I don't quite remember what.
I think this was a viper responding to a call to go off to another target.
You can download the (single shot) video from this link:
http://allgalactica.com/hold/vclimb-03amov.mov
Its in quicktime.
Sandy

I love it !
As well as producing the very exciting Exodus audio series....you're a very talented CGI animator, and I think this test sequences re-affirms this. I hope you will continue to find and post sequences like this...and may edit together a fanfilm sometime soon.......
Great find !!!!

Well, that's a cue to say that Sandy hasn't previewed anything he's been modelling in a dog's age!
What exactly happened to the Larson Lander for instance?

Peter,
Don't worry, the Larson Lander will be appearring on your screen in 2 years!
Ernie,
The Larson Lander is a nickname given to a three-legged walking fighting machine/transport vehicle that Larson had developed for one of his previous attempts to bring back the series. I think this was the IMAX effort.

Nice beauty shot. I like the lighting setup and slight motion blur on the stars to give it a sense of movement.

You 'puter guys are awesome! It amazes me how real some of the models you guys render look!
Still, nothing quite like having a physical model in your hand to "Vrooom!" about the room.
