Front Mission 4 was released this week in Japan for the PS2.
I am buying a Japanese import copy of Front Mission 4 tomorrow.
For those of you that are not familiar with the squaresoft front mission
series, it is squaresoft's version of battletech. A turned based
strategy with upgradeable and customizable mechs. Now on the PS2
in full glory.
Granted, this game will come out here in the U.S. late summer/early fall, but I can't possibly wait that long to play it.
I've played front mission 3 on the PS1 time and time again, and the videos of the PS2 version are awesome.

The fact that all the menus and the voice overs are in english, makes it
even easier to import. The only thing in japanese is the dialog, so I won't understand most of the story, but I'll just trade this one in for the english version so I'll know what's going on.
I did the same for front mission 3. Bought the import to enjoy the gameplay, then bought the english version to enjoy the story. Yes, I am an obsessive geek, and proud of it.
