The One Ring and Middle Earth visit Indy
Indianapolis is hosting an exhibit of LOTR movie trilogy's props, jewelry, costumes and other memorabilia from Te Papa museum, New Line Cinema and Peter Jackson's collection from now until the beginning of the new year.

There's also a really cool museum of Native American and Western art next door that's worth an hour or 2.

Indy has a good airport & I do still do the soccer mom taxi routine for friends.
Northwest has a roundtrip for 2 deal right now, $178 each for 2 in their zone A which is something like Maine to Illinois to at least Tennessee.
