Default Atlantia's Doom ( Battlestar Going Down)

here is the New and Improved Official Battlestar Galactica Chess pewter set.

LOL J-K That's just a quick made title.But I am seriously thinking
of doing that. Try my hand at nipping off chunks of a Battlestar.
Have it fall from orbit and break up. I mean cmon, the cylons got to win sometime....

After getting some advice-feedback on the other clip I started looking at trying
things. may take a few moments to load.

I think it is looking pretty good. There a few thimngs I would like to change , but I got files for this in a heaping mess ,

So much to learn , so little time, and so many ideas with so little knowledge and so much to discover with so many things to try.

Will we see any Vipers launching?

Probably not. The President didn't want to upset the Cylons.

Okay, if I could get some honest feedback.

I have experimented myself to death almost. And even got another training set
for Pyro's and it did not help much at all.
I cannot seem to get explosions like I see in certain videos, or ones I would like to create.
At least in App. I don't want to use presets in AE and screw around with trying to motion track it.

But how does this look to you?

After all the tuts, none of them seem to actually do what they say.
IF you actually animate most, it aint nuttin like what it supposed to be.
So, if I cant make a good explosion, I quit!

LOL, well maybe....

Thanks a lot,

after those and some others elsewhere, I got motivated.

Starting working on a new set up scene and really worked on the planet texture
and the Sky and lightning. Here are some stills while I am working on it.

I dont even have stars in it yet

<<<< ATTENTION>>>> <<<<<NEW AND IMPROVED>>>>

<<<<<BIG UPDATE>>>> <<<<NEW EDITION>>>>

Completely revamped. I have made the almighty explosion the way I want.
I have made fire !!! and I have made combustion !!! I have conquered
the explosion !!!!

Whole New Look ! Am proud of this so far.

See Video Here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EZWZ-rlfKc

After some replies to my desperation on making an explosion, I had revelations, brainstorm,
whatever you want to call it, and began looking at things in a different way.

Then after some careful thought, I put together an emitter arrangement of lights and smoke
that turned out really well. ( I think) I have only done a few , but am so excited to build a ____load
of these explosions all across the known universe....... LOL

I still have a few in my head that I may never be able to do. But I am happy with these and the ones
I am about to make. Also, taking more time, with looking at the scene, constantly asking how to improve it.

I also actually, really, seriously, began to look at actual video clips of NuBSG, and I ended actually,
similarly, recreated a few looks.

I will Continue to add updates to this thread.

Hope you like, Regards,

Randal R.
