Exclamation New Doctor Who series leaked on internet!

In yet another twist to the TV downloading saga, the first episode of the BBC's new Doctor Who series has been leaked onto the internet, several weeks before its premiere on BBC ONE.

The Guardian story also refers to less than glowing reviews of the leak -

Quote:
As a result of the leaks, reviews of the first episode are already starting to appear on the internet. US site Ain't it Cool News, which delights in reviewing TV shows and movies before they are released, is not impressed. "From the cheap opening credit sequence to the hammy and frequently inaudible dialogue, it feels like a fan-produced parody of the original series," it said.

I'd be lying if I didn't say that someone who may or may not be me is downloading this right now.

The guy from "28 Days", Major West is the new Dr. Who.

I'll watch it.

I've watched it.
It'll be interesting to see how Who fandom reacts to their new show. It is very much like it always was, meaning people who loved it as kids and may be hoping that the new version will appeal to them as adults, might be disappointed. It's still the same show for the same audience. I happen to like that. Star Wars fans didn't.

I like that too. But I loved Who as an adult for it's wonderful quirkyness and imagination.
