FANTASIC FIND MAN!

Congrats for presenting this here JLHurley

September 2006 is looking good. And a first advanture with my all time favorite Galactica characters Starbuck and Boomer who together always had the best chemist for humor in the original series. Even the plot sounds like it has the makings of a lost unaired Galactica episode.

Quote:
Thought dead, left behind by Galactica and stranded on a planet over run by Cylons, Starbuck and Boomer must make a harrowing journey into the heart of a Cylon strong hold in hopes of stealing a ship large enough to carry themselves and the planets remaining human population and return to Galactica… if they can find it.
Think i'll get both issues for collector's items when they're out. as the covers both look very spendid.

I'll definitely be picking up both versions too, but the storyline synopsis for the debut issue doesn't especially grab/excite me. I'm sure hoping for the best, though!

Despite the weak sounding premise, I'll still pick up at least two copies. We all know Universal will be looking at the sales of this comic series.

Excellent. Now to find the suburban location of Downtown Comics....

Is this the sort of thing that's best to pre-order?

I would definitely either pre-order it or speak with the owner of the store to find out how many copies he planned on carrying (and even if he'd just set one/two/a hundred aside for you). It's not from a major comic company (DC, Marvel), so the owner may not order a lot. Better safe than sorry.
