Default What Are The Best BG Nonfiction Books?

I have all the Battlestar:Galactica novels and a technical manual of sorts, but are there any really great "behind the scenes" type of BG books out there?

No matter how old.

The Battlestar Galactica Unofficial Companion, by Levine and Criswell was just released this year is probably the most complete. Search for it off Amazon, then get it from Alibris or one of the other 2nd hand sellers if the Amazon price is still saying $40. The second-hand folks usually sell a new one for around $22. It's stacked with interviews of producers and cast of the series and the various revival attempts.

There's an older book called An Analytical Guide to Battlestar Galactica (by Muir) that can usually be found fairly cheap on ebay.

Two of the books I enjoy alot are the "Official Battlestar Galactica Scrapbook" and "Encyclopedia Galactica". You can find these on Amazon.com or Ebay.

Default Dates...

Just to clear up something about the books mentioned here.

The Encyclopedia and the Official Scrapbook were originally released in 1979 during the run of the BSG series...

John Muir's Analytical Guide came out in 1999 and the Unofficial Companion was just released last month or so....

All are great books and are a must-have for any Galactica fan!!!!!
