It says "James R. Kirk" instead of "James T. Kirk"

Do you believe in life out there?

Hmmm, difficult for me to pick a single movie, because I liked so many for different reasons. I liked Apollo 13, The Secret Garden (the more recent one), Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (yes, I have a different opinion than many people about that one), Fantasia 2000, Glory, A Man for All Seasons, The Pink Panther, Star Trek II-IV-VI, Gandhi... the list goes on.

What kinds of music do you like?

Pretty much anything that isn't country or rap.

Do you accept the possiblity of ancient alien visitations to Earth, and/or artifacts in our solar system?

I accept the possibility, but I think that it's unlikely.

Battlestar Galactica 2004

What is unusual about this sentence?

"The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog."

Answer:
Spoiler
It uses every letter in the alphabet, at least once.

What time of year, or season, is your favorite? I love spring with autumn coming in a very close second.

Softball, field hockey, bowling, soccer, gymnastics, flag football, and fencing. I know...fencing doesn't really count as a team sport, but we competed against other schools of fencing.

What is the most embarrassing thing that you've ever experienced?

An incident comes to mind from my early childhood. I beat an older kid in a game of table tennis and was quite pleased about it. It came as a surprise when he smashed a basketball in my face, hard enough to split my lip and I actually started crying. He joined his friends and they left. It was embarrassing because it happened in front of virtually the whole school (it was during a break between the lessons) and people just stared and walked by without a word. I felt embarrassed, confused and alone.

If you could change a moment in history that you think would change our world for the better, what would it be?

That is a very tough question, and there are so many possibilities that I find it difficult to choose just one. But, since I must choose one...I would prevent the AIDS virus from ever coming into existence.

If you could choose one person (must be a real person, present or past, anyone throughout history) to be your companion for an evening of drinks, dinner and conversation, who would it be?

Could I also have one more insignificant talent, that of speaking all the languages present or past? If I did, I would love to have a dinner with either Jesus or Mohammed, whoever is available. I would love to hear their views on how their religions have been so twisted over time.

Do you believe in intelligent design?

No...I do not. I am a true agnostic. I have not seen/heard enough evidence to support belief in any religion or creationist theories of any kind. I simply do not know if there is a divine or advanced being with a hand in the creation of man, but I am not arrogant enough to declare absolutely that there is no such being. I am a true agnostic.

Who do you consider to be the most influential and significant science fiction writer to date?

It would have to be Isaac Asimov.

If you were given the opportunity to have a small one-time role in any science fiction TV series (past or present), which would it be?

Babylon 5 or Battlestar Galactica. I'd have to flip a coin.

Which episode of Battlestar Galactica did you like the best?

Spoiler
*Classic for me was "Living Legend"

Best wishes:
