My question is, are every one of those red circles an elevator to take the viper up to level 2?
In a word no ... The Idea I had was that the Elevators are behind the DOORS behind the Vipers that we see in the show contain the Elevators .... the Deck one is a staging area ...

There may be only one thing that might throw off the scale of your schematic, and that's the Eastern Alliance Destroyer, which was interned aboard the Galactica when it was captured for a short while. Obviously a shuttle elevator wouldn't be big enough for it, nor would i think it would fit through one of the airlock doors.

I will do some rethinking about that .. one the 3 Level as I had them

1,(and the lowest) hold the Viper's and their equipment etc.. The Second is the Landing bay itself and that has a barrier
over mid way down ? where there are huge interlocking doors .. where the shuttle Elevators are located ... I have them in RED across the bay...

The 3 level is for the shuttle storage and other heavy equipment fuel etc ..

Funnily enough, this has been the situation that has lead to several BSG fanfilms being started. Then the creator gets a job, and we are left with bated breath whether the projects will be completed !

I'm an eternal optimist though, and always believe that they will.....
