I was just given a copy of a program, its called Houdini Master 9.0.794. I dont know much about 3D rendering software. Is this a good program? If so, will I be able at some point (assuming I work at it) to do the kinds of things I see on TV and in movies?

Never having tried it myself .. I cannot say from experience..

I too am a bit new to 3D programs but I am willing to learn. Never heard of this program and I hope it is good for beginners. If you find it to be a program easy to understand be sure to let us know, I am always looking for beginner friendly software in the 3D realm.

Well, it's been a while Tabitha.

Any news, update, opinions about the software?

I, too, am getting started in the 3D arena. I am working on a battlestar story as we speak (well, okay not this exact minute.

lol).

Anyway, I would like to hear your thoughts about the software.

I have been given some links to a variety of Freeware to download. Some of them are 3D graphics software (like Blender, and Bryce 5.5 and Terragen).

All 3d software have a learning curve . for some its a steep one and for others its not ..

Reading the web site it looks very professional.. Let us know how your getting on .. even better make something ..
