Default Playing with Lightwave - Again

Nothing fancy. I loaded up Lightwave again after a long break. Amazing how unfamiliar things become after a couple of years. This one is rendered out to resemble Peter's preference of not looking CG.

Beautiful. Composite scene rendered fully in LW? or rendered in LW then composited with the background image in an image editor?

Maudib,

Three renders of the basestar model with alpha masks in Lightwave. Hand drawn starfield in PhotoShop using three different scatter brushes. I painted the planet in PhotoShop as well and then composited it all in PhotoShop. The original was rendered at 70mm. This pic is scaled down with a post-production blur to resemble what you would see on television.
