Triad
Hey, I was wondering if any of the BSG conventions ever tried to actually hold a game of triad?

If summer camps can have sporting events in which highly-damagable, and energetic kids go at each other, how much risk can their be for a few couch-patato nerds (please note, I'm satirizing myself too, so I get a pass), who hit like girls, trying to emulate their favorite Space Opera heros?

well when you think of it... majority of the larger conventions have alcohol served at them. Like take Dragoncon for instance. They now have badges for you to wear if you drink all weekend long that say... hi my name is... if you find me passout please return me to ..... hotel and my room is......
sad but true...
and the other reason why I say it could be a liability thing... when I got hurt at one of the conventions... (long story... not my fault either) the convention was VERY quick to make it known that I can not hold them liable though I was hurt during their convention and on location of the convention.
Just my 2 cents worth and thoughts... not like its gospel or anything... I just work for them...

You know I have never thought of it. It would be kind of cool to actually play triad. Let's see, three-sided enclosed court with holes up in the walls. Could be built with plywood and no roof just to save on expenses...could be done.
How about it anyone? ANyone want to try and build the first triad court ever? ANd start the official Triad League?

To be honest I'm not in shape enough to play it, and I'm not good at building things, but I'd throw some money in the pot to help build it if neccessary. Heck, I'd do it even if it wasn't a convention I was attending, and I couldn't see the game.
