Thanks Aussie, getting now. David Kerrin, with your permission, once I get them, I'd like to put them up on a newsgroup for better access.

Thanks Aussie Warrior. Without your posting Living Legend on torrentbox,I didn't think I would get that at all.And to Mr. Kerin, keep up the good work.Better to update and upgrade a existing classic(Something similar is taking place with "Star Trek")than to remake(or "reimagine") it .

Sounds good SilentBob. Please share. And the help is really appreciated.

Thanks radama, I do like getting to embellish the existing episodes. Not out to reinvent, reimagine in any way, although I did a little of that with the Return of Starbuck ep. But that was to get rid of the G1980 aspects, so in my book that's okay.

I'm definately interested in seeing what they do with the original Trek. That series Starship Enterprise has always been one of my favorite ships, and I'd love to see it in some new SFX scenes.

I'll help you out as best as possible SilentBob, i'm running all four videos at various times of the day to stretch my download limit..............might upload 100MB at a time but i have noticed my upload number every time i restart BitTorrent goes back to zero, not sure if that is affecting peoples ability to download from me or not

I've been leaving my system up, however there was one big thing that I was having download, and should be done soon. hopefully that will open up some speed a bit. I do know that my uploads max out at 40kb/s.

I honestly don't know what I'm doing with these torrents...downloading? seeding? I haven't been able to watch anything from either demonoid or torrent.com .. I'll just wait until someone posts it to something like youtube.

I did watch the Saga re-edit on youtube and that was very easy to access.

Experiment in Terra and Judgement Day have now completed and I am seeding.. Living Legend has about 9 hours left on it. Hand of God is still at 0%. Thanks for the help. I'll be posting EIT and Judgement Day on newsgroups soon to assist. I'll post here again to let you know what newsgroups they're going to be on.

Out of curiosity, when you post on the newsgroups, is it still torrent files or is there some other method of access to the files. Being that I'm amazed I somewhat figured out torrents, wondering if there is some other method out there I don't know about.

Dave
To answer your question, no, it's not the torrent file. The entire video file is uploaded to the newsserver in the form of rar files and par2 recovery files. Then those who can access the newsgroups can download those files and then get the video by unpacking the rar files with winrar. If one or more of the rar files becomes corrupt or is missing, the par2 recovery files can rebuild the missing file, provided you have a copy of Quickpar, which is free and available on the web. I'm pretty thorough when it comes to posting on newsgroups and know how to make sure files are complete. I subscribe to a premium server with a good amount of file retention, so they'll be there for a while.

I hope this answers your question.

Thanks Bob, that answers it really well.

I've never subscribed, or accessed newsgroups, so it is another of those intenet worlds that is new to me, just as torrents were completely foreign to me before starting these re-edits.

Thank you for helping get these out there on the web, I hope people get some enjoyment from them.

Dave. (who's still pluggin' away on Saga of a Starworld)

Just wanted to share a comment by someone who grabbed Judgement Day from one of the newsgroups that I posted it on................

"This is a terrific gem! Finally, we get to see this episode as it
should have been made. The ending makes logical sense.

Thanks for sharing this."

I finally figured out Bit Torrent and was able to watch this. Awesome stuff.

So can I burn this to DVD and watch it on a DVD player?
