Sadly I have no way to post any pics. Had a blast at the bridal shower yesterday. Got a few things that I can use and some things I needed!

i do not have access to a scanner unless I go to my sister's and then it takes forever. one of my gifts was a revolving spice rack. I needed one badly!

Hi Bsg! If you can, you really ought to try and get a scanner - they are practically indespensible nowadays. They function not only as a great way to share pics, but also make far better copies of your important documents (taxes, birth certificates, etc) than a store xerox machine. And they're unbelievably cheap! You can pick even nice ones up for under $50.
Here's some sample links for ya:

Bet you're getting excited about the wedding! Thinking of ya!

BSG,
Do you know how many are likely to attend?
These days, when I get my photos processed, I pay a little extra, to have them on a CD Rom as well, as the prints.
My friend who was recently married had all her photos put on a rom, by the photographer. Maybe you should look into that.
That would solve the problem of a lack of scanner, and we will be able to see what a beautiful bride you are.
Although, I do recommend that you get one, as Muffit has said, they are really handy at times, especially for photocopying.

For us over here in England, it looks like we will have the typical May Bank Holiday weather;
Overcast with showers!
Its almost guarenteed!
Bank Holiday = poor weather

Yesterday was very sunny but extremely windy at my house, so it was fairly cool. A good day to mow the lawn, especially since it had rained for so long that some of the grass at my house was waist-high! Now, I know that I'm not very tall (I have shrunk from 5'6" to 5'5 1/4" in the last four years), but that is some tall grass!
It took me six hours and I still have about an acre left to either mow or weed whack. I love my house, but the yard is totally out of control.
Of course, today is gorgeous, which must mean that I am at work... which I am. I needed to pick up some extra shifts at my part-time job so that I can pay for my trip to England, so beggars can't be choosers, I suppose.

Tornado? No fun, amber, stay inside if you can. I am so glad I live in the Northeast. We have icky weather ten months out of the year, but at least it's almost never dangerous.

Thanks Uno! If one touches down, I'll run to my basement.
I have seen a few tornados fly over and in other counties close by they have actually touched down. So far I've been lucky

There was a shiny yellow orb in the sky earlier, it was quite scary, I don't think I've seen something like that in a long time...

Is THAT what that shiny yellow orb was?! My goodness, it's been so long since I saw one of those.

Thanks bsg! So, are you counting seconds rather than days until your wedding yet?

Thanks muffit! And may I congratulate you on the recent change in ownership of this wonderful site? I think we are all glad it has been left in your warm and caring hands.

Today has been the day sent by Count Iblis himself. My kids are already home .......
It's the last day of school and they are bouncing off of the walls.
I just found out that my oldest child may have Aspergers .............Oh well
what's ONE more person in my family? As I, my child, my niece and my
deceased uncle are also autistic. I'm so tired of my mother saying it's the
vaccinations ..........and NOT 'in the family'.
How can it be anything OTHER then DNA when THREE generations of the SAME
family are AUTISTIC?
My husband was in a wreck .......both HE and the TRACTOR operator are at
fault .......{Like we can afford this in the first place}.
My left ankle {which never healed properly from our 'hike'} is hurting and I
can't even afford to go to the doctor.
And on top of that my husband has been grousing so much about me 'not
doing anything around the house' which is a bald face LIE ........he has the
KIDS doing it now.
