BSG 30th Bday on the 18th! (yay) Plans?
Just wondered if anyone will be having a special screening, inviting some friends round, enjoying a glass of something goooood etc?

I have not a clue what the correct date is....(ducks from all the pillows and mushies   )...!7th-18th-ish huh? I might watch an ep, I just watched "Saga"a couple of days ago(the movie version, darn, should have saved it for the date  ), but I'll probably hit the Ambrosa with another veiwing anyhow.. 
What's everyone else doing?

Wasn't in theaters before being on TV? The TV premier was Sept 17th, 1978.

I think I will put it up on the big screen and watch with the kids and order in a ton of Indian food. Since the boys love space battles ( and who doesn't) I will probably pop in Dave Kerin's re-edit since it has lots of space battles  |

You are officialy invited!! Plenty of pappadum and chicken tikka. We will even order some more vindaloo now that we have company coming over  And we make our own Mango Lassi's (more economical that way since the boys will drink 2 to 3 of them. EACH!) |

I'm not clear here. We are talking about September, aren't we? BSG premiered on ABC at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 17, 1978.
Or are you talking about the Canadian movie?

I'm planning ahead, on a timely thread...
The previous posts to mine were clarifying 17th or 18 th SEPTEMBER, so it didn't occur to me we were discussing August
