It can take a piece of plastic that's 24" x 36" but the platen image area is 22" x 34".

Why do you ask?

I remember reading that in the show they had to get an industrial sized one to make the set fittings (the conduits and wall panels and so on) and wondered if you had one that could do stuff that big.

That's a negatory Big Ben.

I suspect that the one they used for the show was probably a 4x8 machine simply because that's the standard size for sheet plastics (and most every other sheet material that you build stuff from).

Hmmm...we might be able to find out which vac-form company did the work for the production and see if they stll have the bucks lying about...

Yeah, right... thirty years down the pipe. not likely.

P.S. maybe we should take this to a different thread?

Yep G, you could do your front room out like the Big G's bridge. Mind you, I think Mrs G might kick your butt all the way down the street if you even suggested it.

Have you got a den? (I'm not trying to give you any ideas, really I'm not)

Okay I'll drop it now.

I'm shooting scenes in your house if you do.

That is it! I am going on a hunger strike to save money to buy this stuff!

Thank the Lords that brown rice is cheap!

If anyone builds a decent Galactica bridge I will fly out to work on the film in just about any capacity needed.
