a deep trance
a figure fuzzy
in the distance
a slow gait
which comes to me
features now clearer
white light and
flickers of my eye
a face which
stops my heart
filled with a mixture
of love and grief
trying to hold on
to a memory
forcing myself to feel
wanting the joy
and trying to hold on
happiness and pain mix
together at once
