One is suppose to look like the old version we are familiar with. One is radically different. The "older" model is used very very briefly. There is a scene where the Galactica is decommissioned in a big ceremony. Lee Adama gripes at having to fly his hated father's viper. But ends up flying it in a simple flyby of the battlestar.
But that is it. That's all we see of the old viper.'
erm int script I read.. there's a few old vipers that launch through the gift shop.. (dont' care what you all say.. that is the one scene I do wanna see LOL reminds me of Babylon - Bear......) has there been a changed script? since all the new vipers are supposed to fall to the computer hack.. and the old ones re not affected.....
