The main thrust of the cthulu mythos is the horror generated in passages of text that decribe very specifically the essence of indescribability. "The creature was all at once the blackest black but the most blinding white". "The presence filled me with a glorious dread". "It was a round square. Not a rounded square, but a shape that defied any attempt to quantify it."

And Vogons are the main "antagonist" in the beginning of The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy by Douglas Adams. They run a planetary demolition service and are as cross and un-freindly as it gets. They are also fond of nobody's poetry but their own... and it is so bad that one man actually suffered his intestine crawling up through his neck to throttle his brain as a result of listening to it.
