Indeed. I must admit then, I'm not a real man. While I am quite capable at my grill, I prefer to be in MY kitchen. My wife (rest her soul) and my kids always joked about "dad's kitchen". Everything has to be "just so". My pots, pans, utensils. And don't let me catch you messing around in MY kitchen.
The kitchen is a woman's place? In my world, only if I let her in it.
And if she's real nice, I may even invite her to play with the tools in the automotive/carpentry shop. Girls with power tools! Gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.
