Updated revival information just posted at the Battlestar Galactica Club Forums

Battlestar Galactica fan JJRAKMAN has just posted an additional revival information document, with a listing of more sponsors to write to. Both of JJRAKMAN's revival documents have a list of postal addresses, as well as e-mail and web links that you can write to. Be sure to check out both revival documents below, and write-in and state that you are boycotting the advertisers product if they sponsor the Ron Moore's Battlestar Galactica re-make on the Sci-Fi Channel. Postal mail will make the most difference, however you can also e-mail or visit the sponsors web site as well. Be sure to participate, spread the word, and make your voice heard!

I'll see what sort of reviews it gets. 3) Boo! Hiss! How dare they mess up BATTLESTAR GALACTICA? 4) What's BATTLESTAR GALACTICA?" New "Viper Launch" artwork from David Kerin

Battlestar Galactica fan CGI artist David Kerin has just completed a new artwork rendering, entitled "Viper Launch". David Kerin reports: "Been putting together a launch tube to later work into some animations. It is not exact, and will still be tweaked, but I was trying to get something that would look close as a Viper shoots down the launch tube." Thanks to David Kerin for posting the report at Colonial Fleets.

Kenneth Thomson Jr. script review is Online!

The brand-new review of the Ron Moore mini-series script was just posted by Kenneth Thomson Jr. at his DemonSlayers.org web site. The review of the script is different from the previous reviews, however the news is still not good for original Battlestar Galactica fans and continuation supporters. One of the interesting features of Ken's review are his comments of how the script could be re-done to support a prequel of Battlestar Galactica. For the complete review, be sure to check out the following link at DemonSlayers.org.

Possible info on the Battlestar Galactica DVDs...

Possible DVD News from Michael Faries: "I'm not sure yet if the information is reliable, but I did find this interesting. Apparently, the distributor (which distributor, I don't know) of the Battlestar Galactica DVD set had major problems with the DVD masters. As a result, they have to restart the whole mastering process from scratch. They've postponed the release date AGAIN and this time it is indefinite until they can re-do the masters and correctly complete the transfer process of all materials. In the case of Region 4's release, EzyDVD decided that they could no longer wait for the release. They canceled the orders until an official release date is confirmed. Regarding the Regions 1 and 2 DVD sets: I don't know. On a personal note, I still believe that the Region 1 release, for example, is being delayed due to marketing. I would also give credibility to the quality control problems, given the recent Region 1 'Back to the Future' DVD set snafu." Thanks to Michael Faries of BattlestarGalactica.com for posting this update at the Sci-Fi Channel BBoard.

New Battlestar Galactica Canadian Newspaper Article

A brand-new newspaper article featuring Battlestar Galactica was just posted at the Battlestar Columbia-B web site. The article states: "THE PROVINCE - Friday, January 3. Battlestar Galactica. Vancouver remains the sci-fi world capital for the big screen and the small. The latter will be blessed with a four-hour mini-series and/or pilot regurgitation of Battlestar Galactica, which is set to begin filming in March. Fanatics will be donning their gear and staging conventions for this one, although so far they're outraged at some of the perceived changes to the original story. ('With a small remnant of humanity surviving aboard the last remaining Battlestar, Commander Adama and President Laura Roslin opt to make a run for it in the Galactica, hoping to reach the humans' legendary homeworld of Earth, while pursued through space by the fanatical, now humanoid Cylons.') It's going to be even worse during a full moon." Check out the new article just posted at the Battlestar Columbia-B web site.

Additional Battlestar Galactica Revival Petition

Debbie Bailey of the Battlestar Columbia-B has recently started an additional petition for the Battlestar Galactica revival. The petition states: "To: The Sci-Fi Channel & Ron D. Moore, Battlestar Galactica Petition Against re-imagining, We, hereby agree that, The Sci-Fi Channel and Ron D. Moore should not do a 're-imagining' of Battlestar Galactica and that they should respect the wishes of the fans around the world and what they want. That is, THE ORIGINAL CAST AND THEME, as prescribed by Richard Hatch. 'What they want is to see the characters and the storylines from the original series continued, only 24 years from where the series left off.'" Be sure to make your voice heard and sign the additional petition!
