Battlestar Galactica Day at Hollywood Video in New York?

Ken Deep has posted a new report at the Battlestar Galactica Club Forums: "I manage Hollywood Video in Plainview New York. I would love to have a Battlestar Galactica day to celebrate the release of the DVD Box Set. I know that week is the convention in LA, but if there are any fans or fan groups that aren't going and would like to put something together, feel free to post it here. I've done a few theme days before, and I have an Indiana Jones day planned, my second Star Wars day, and a Lord of the Rings theme. Local fan groups can set up a table, even raise money for the charity of choice, and I've had a post party at a bar/club I know. If this is something anyone is interested in, please post a reply." Thanks to Ken for posting the report. If you're interested in joining the possible event, be sure to reply to Ken at the following link.

Richard Hatch Bringing 25th Anniversary to the UK

New report from Ian Cullen of SciFiPulse.net: "Some of you will recall how crushed many UK fans were last year, when Richard Hatch was cancelled from the Cult TV Festival in Southport England. He will not be cancelled this year, thanks to a UK fan group calling themselves 'The League Of Non-Aligned' who have insured Hatch a place at the 10th Cult TV Festival which will be held at the Sandbay holiday village in the south of England. Richard will be there from Friday the 10th through to the 13th of October. Of course he will more than likely bring his The Second Coming trailer with him. For more information about this years Cult TV event, point your browsers to the following link." Thanks to Ian for posting the report at the Battlestar Galactica Club Forums.
