There was a BIG on in Birmingham this summer just gone (Summer 2005) Sadly, in my opinion, this was a poor time to hold it as many people who I know who wanted to go, couldn't because of holiday commitments....myself included.
However, I did hear that attendance was excellent and it was very successful. I spoke to one of the organisers on the phone, and mentioned when they used to happen in Newcastle(organised by other people), and how they never impressed me with the way they went about things.
There are various conventions up and down the country. However, I hope that since DG Promotions are members here on CF, and knowing the success of the BSG themed one they had, and the gap in the market, they may organise more....
