The first Spiderman's opening weekend gross was $114 million. Fantastic Four made an estimated $56 million. In fact Spidey made $43 million on its second day of release alone.
Although, FF did lead this weekend to be the first to break Hollywood out of its 19 week boxoffice slump.
Personally, I thought FF was mediocre at best.
