A survey by web tracking company Envisional puts British downloaders at 18% of the global total, followed by Australia at 16% and the U.S. sits in third place at 7%.

One thing I can understand about this story is that people in the UK usually have to wait weeks, months, even years (in extreme cases) to see shows from the US (a situation you are currently experiencing with the New Galactica series), and sometimes these shows are mistreated (poorly scheduled, cut, moved from slot to slot, etc) once we do get them - so the demand for an alternative solution is there. It's up to the TV companies to sort out the problem, or it will hit them in the pocket.
