How to recreate a Cylon voice?
I need some help on the audio side of things. How do you recreate a Cylon centurions' voice??
I have access to Adobe Audtion sound editing software but I wonder if anyone has experience manipulating the EQ or Modulation to get that beautiful robotic tone? does anyone have any info on how to do this??? |

And of course an electrolarynx works well too. We've played with them at work since it gives the perfect rendering of a Cylon voice. That's what laryngeal cancer patients used to predominantly use to replicate a voice when they had their voice box surgically removed.
Not sure what one would go for though, although I can't imagine anything used in the medical field would be cheap. |

I have a very strong suspicion that if you want it to sound just like the original centurion voice you'll also have to input the right human voice into the electronics.
If you recall the centurion voices in galactica 1980 did not sound like the same voice actor (Patrick Stuart may have been one). |
