Something to gnaw on...
Latin name: Castor Canadensis
physical description:"The beaver is highly adapted to it's aquatic life with webbed hind feet, the rudder-like tail, valves that close off the ears and nostrils, skin that seals off the mouth but leaves the incisors free for underwater gnawing and carrying and clear membranes that slide over the eyes protecting them from floating debris. During the early nineteenth century the beaver pelt was the single most valuable commodity, the pelt being used for robes, coats, clothing trims, and top hats. Nowadays the pelt is still highly valued, the flesh and sometimes, the tail are considered tasty but the beaver is now protected from over trapping."

hhhmmm

Right now we are knee deep in snow .........I'm praying for more.
I wish everyone could see my kids out there ..............My youngest the snow
is up to her chest ...........my oldest it's up to her waist.
My husband is getting more exercise then he ever dreamed up ..............shoveling
that snow off the driveway ...................just so he can get to work.

We need a couple of more stomes like this to avoid a fire like the one we had in 2000
that made 400 families homeless ..........so pray that Los Alamos and the state of NM
for that matter gets MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE SNOW!

Send it down we only got 14 inches of snow and still don't have
enough moisture yet to avoid draught restrictions come spring. :(
