Hi All !

I was so impressed, entertained and inspired by RavosholPulsars Billy Joel parady I just throught I'd try my hand at turning an exsisting song into a Anit SCI FI pro GALALCTICA song.
This was just a 2 and a half sloppy drafts, but what the heck a good excersise and fun.


HOTEL BONNIHAMMER

On a dark dismal channel
TV remote in hand
Warm smell of Doritos
Crumbly bits in my chair
Up ahead on the program
I saw a frightening sight
My show was remade,
And my mouth drew grim
I had to stop them and Fight!
There it stood as a remake
I heard the sweet death knell
I saw a bunch of sexy cylon chicks
rock n’ roll, cheap sets,
ships and tits
Then she ripped up our vision And tried to blow us away There were fan boys down the corridor
Kissing ass, as I heard them say

Welcome to demented SciFi Channel
Such a lovely place
Ratings rules this place (background)
Such a rat two face
Plenty of hacks at the Hotel Bonniehammer
Hackin’ all year here
You can slime it here (background)
We don’t give a dear

Her Ratings blissfully twisted
She’s got the Ronald D. Moore
She’s got a lot of petty, heavy fans
With their ears to the floor
His fans dance in the courtyard
Techno babble drek
Old fans to remember
New fans to forget
So I asked Universal
Please make my show shine
He said we haven’t had that writing here
since 1979
And still those E-Mails are calling from far
away
Forced the writers in a middle of a fight
Just to have them say

Pissing the fans off at the SciFi channel
low concept place
Sex sells this place (background)
SciFi’s such a waste
Their sexin’ it up at the Hotel Bonniehammer
Budgets on the fly
Kids close your eyes (background)
Bring your corporate lies

I say we until the "new" Galactica appears, lets have fun and re-do songs and/pr Broadway shows that reflect our feelings on the current state of the sci-fi channel.
