Just wanted to let you know that the next installment of the Battlestar Callisto mini-eps is now done.

Thanks guys. Yes, Hawke organizes the links at his Hawke's Nest site and has them available for download at the Callisto site and Daniel has them all available on the battlestarfanfilms site as well.

Sir, those mini-sodes are WONDERFUL!! It's neat to see the footage we all know and love re-edited into a new story! Well done! :salute:

Is there a youtube page for these? Would be nice to see them without having to save to the computer, and it may get more people seeing them.

A few years back, somewhere around 2007 or so after I had finished the first two or three mini-eps, someone posted them to Youtube and they were up for more than a year. I remember seeing them on there....

but sometime in late 2008, they were taken down by Youtube. Not sure exactly why, I thought maybe it had something to do with the fact that I used original series footage in my minieps?

Also want to share that I have sort of finished the script to the next episode. What I want to do is write two versions of the script, one with very few actors (like I usually do) and one with more if I can get people over here to do the filming..but it's coming along. I hope to shoot something later this summer...stay tuned...

Actually they all are available (along with all of your BSG episode fan edits) in the theater on Battlestargalacticaclub.net. We had a mishap with the forums and I'm working feverishly to repost them.

Hi everyone! I hope you all are doing well.

I know, I know, it has been almost 14 yahrens since the last Callisto mini-ep. NOt sure what happened, I guess life got in they way and right when I was just about to get started on the next one, we bought a new house and moved and yadda yadda.

Next thing you know it's the 45th anniversary of BSG and we are now turning the calendar into 2024!!

To make a long story short, I am now in preproduction for the next Callisto mini-ep!! I have dusted off the old script written back in 2010 and made some changes to it, very minor though.

I have ordered a green screen lighting kit so I can shoot the cgi stuff at home instead of at work. I have also gotten a new computer (man, I'd better have gotten a new one since my last computer was from 2005!) I am learning new editing software as well and it is all coming together nicely.

I am just days away from beginning the shoot. First up will be a monologue in my office and then all the rest in the studio control room which will serve as the bridge and then at my house for all the green screen stuff.

Now, here's my dilemma: where will this thing be seen? Most of the previous sites that housed the mini-eps are down. Hawke's Nest, Battlestarfanfilms, etc.

Does anyone have an idea on where I can house these things so I can spread the word about them?

I will keep everyone updated here as I go along!

Update:

I have found that Vimeo will host my videos and I expect to give you all the links soon. I will be making a youtube video about it and give the links there as well.

Now to the mini-ep: all greenscreen footage is complete! All I have left to shoot is the bridge shots with my lovely wife playing the part of Lt. Annie. Not sure when that will be done given that I have to come in to my workplace to shoot it and that will have to be at night when no one is around.

But it is coming along nicely!

I am on the free account at vimeo so they will only allow me to upload two videos per month. I will have the next two available as soon as April hits. Then, with any luck, the brand new episode will be premiered in May...stay tuned for further updates...

Update on the latest: I have shot all footage in the control room. All I have left is a couple of shots of the warriors in the viper cockpit. I have just begun the basic first steps at editing this thing together...stay tuned...

UPdate: all photography is now done!! The last shots of the warriors in the new canopy have been completed...
Now the work begins of editing this thing!
