Space ( the Canadian equiv. of Skiffy ..only better ) will be running BOTH shows beginning September 6th.


I remember when Space began airing the original BSG episodes about 5 years ago, starting with SOASW and running straight through til "Return of Starbuck". UNcut! I wonder if they'll do it again.

I can't help but to smile at this news. I'm glad to see Space is putting the original back on the air!

This is awesome news about the rest of the series but I am ready for season 2 and now I find out January is the waiting time . . . . That's almost a half year away

It's too bad that they're running TOS at 2:00 PM. I'll probably catch the midnight re-airings while the other half sleeps. The commercials are pretty good. I hope Space goes along with Darrell's request. Space has always promoted BSG (both versions) well. During the first run of TOS on Space it was referred to as the 'most requested show'. They have a bit of fun with the old shows, but never disrespect them.

Their scheduling of TNS has been a rather sore spot with me, since by the time I see the episodes they're old news in places like Fleets.

Oh well, we still get Who on CBC. It would be really cool if Space tried for some old Who episodes.

Oh as nice as it would be, I can almost guarantee that is pretty much NEVER going to happen... When Space first came on the air they aired Dr. who from the beginning for almost a year. Apprently the ratings for it were so bad Space would have had to PAY advertisers to put their commercials on with it. I don't understand why exactly but at the time Denis McGrath of Space went on the message board and more or less said that the odds of Space EVER airing Dr. Who
again were about the same as a dalek winning a proffessional tap dancing contest. That was about 10 years ago mind you... and who knows what the future holds for the daleks... <tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, >
