I read the article on the way home from work. What a hoot! We tried telling them that over 10 years ago but, they didn't want to listen. Thought they knew it all. HA!

Of course. NitJerk suits ALWAYS know better than the fans do. After all, they get to sit in snazzy offices, and shuffle scripts around.
They must know something, right?

So does this also mean no more mansquito movies?

But seriously, they had a good success with RDM's BSG, so maybe Blood and Chrome plus continuing Caprica (on alternating seasons).

And considering the popularity of Jericho and now Revolution, perhaps they could buy Jeremiah and either re-do or continue that. And of course Deathlands is perfect for adaptation into an episodic series.
And of course there is Firefly, instant fanbase!

I really think besides just producing better quality shows, syfy needs to split into two channels, one dedicated to Sci-FI and one to fantasy/horror/supernatural etc...
