I was at a Mall with a friend in Orange County (65 miles north of San Diego) over Thanksgiving and picked one up! I might pick up another just to keep unopened. As an avid Star Trek ornament collector, I do not remember any Keepsake Ornaments of TOS Galactica ever being released. Does anyone else recall? I hope this becomes a trend. :thumbsup:

I HAD to buy two! I removed one from the box (gasp!).
I can tell you a little more about the ornament. From the base to the loop he (she? it?) is 4 1/2 inches tall. The Cylon requires two 303/357 hearing aid batteries, which are included. He says four phrases in the original Cylon voice. You'll have to buy one to learn what he says.
There is some information about Galactica and the Cylon on the box. The selling price is $19.95. (There are some women's magazines this month that have a coupon for $5 off at Hallmark and you can use it.) The Cylon is made in China--no surprise there.

Just a follow up to this thread:

For New York Comic Con, Hallmark is releasing a limited edition Gold Cylon Commander ornament. Same exact design, only painted in gold.

Cool!! I'll have to keep my eye out for that one. Would be awesome if they could do the same thing but with our heroes -- Apollo, Starbuck and Adama, et al.

Update: apparently Hallmark is releasing a new ornament this year. It will be the actual Battlestar Galactica! Supposedly the engines light up and it makes a sound...cool.
