Python Heavy Fighter Physical Model

Ok boys and girls,
While finishing up my accurized R/M Raider and working on Vipers...both Scarlet and Standard.... I have taken on another project with the help of Smallworld.
I am making the masters for a physical model kit of his Python Heavy Fighter.
I am making this in scale with the R/M Viper so it will be a companion piece to set on the shelf or desk along side your R/M Vipers. So you can have everyone ask ...."What the h#!! is that??" :wtf:
Smallworld and I are consulting on this and there will be a few changes made to his design... all to make it look like it belongs on the flight deck in the TOS univeres.
Don't have any pics yet....just started on it..... but will have soon.
Sooooo, keep checking here for up-dates. And when the masters are done and the molds are ready, you guys here can be the first ones to get them. (if you want) :salute:

Are we taking about a kit to build or a pre-built kit?

A kit that you can build.... of course...... ;)
I know how much fun it is to actually build these garage type kits.

Here's the first...... (of many).... pics of the start of this project.
I'm starting with the engines, because they are the easiest shapes to replicate.
I'm using my "Burner Can Set" for the R/M Viper so the continuity will be carried thru. (Of course I had to add one more burner can...)

These are just the basic parts to start with.

Here's some more progress for you all.

Engines are coming along well. Once they are completed I will start on carving the fuselage. ;)

Here are how they are looking so far......

Well, here's some progress ......finally on this. Took me a while to pick up some foam...but I have it now and have roughed out the fuselage for the Python.
Alot more sanding and some carving is still to go but it looks like it's coming along nicely. :D
Engines are as done as I need them right now. I need to get the body shaped out and finished in plaster...then I can lay out the panel lines on both the fuselage and the engines.
Wings will come after that.
Let me hear from you guys..... :salute:

Thanks for the free reign Warrior. It is very interesting how when fans work with the same perameters and technologies that two different designs could come out so similar.

And here's a sepperate note for you, and Taranis and Titon......and everyone else that is following this thread.....

Don't worry guys.....with the exception of a move to AZ in about a month, I promiss this project will be done in a timely fashion. (Not like a certain other major project else where on these threads that has taken it's sweet time) :/:
