This is a quick render of my completed starfighters .. some of you know that this design was considered for the Viper design.

Re: 3 birds (Buck Rogers)
That's pretty spectacular. Lovely work!
I've been looking all around for a decent resin kit of the Thunderfighter in studio scale (but they're SO far out of my price range that its not a liklihood I'll have one soon). I've been considering having a pattern made up via a 3-d router. It would require a large amount of finishing work, but it'd get me to the end result by providing the major body shapes in scale. The trick is, of course, that it would require a high-quality CG model to run the program from... Hmmm.... Also: anybody do a CG model of a landram? -G |
Re: 3 birds (Buck Rogers)
I done a Landram .. not the greatest work but is available. I got the Starfighter as close as my skill would allow .. if its any use work away

Re: 3 birds (Buck Rogers)
Looks good!
Now you should dirty them up a bit. :) |
Re: 3 birds (Buck Rogers)
I love them! I have downloaded the models and hope to do something with them at some point. There is something in my mind (video-wise) and its just finding the time to do it.
Thanks Taranis so much for making them, and even more so for sharing. |
Re: 3 birds (Buck Rogers)
I want to do some textures .. but basic .. Texturing is still a weak point for me.
Dave I am delight to share them :) giving something back to the community :) |
