This just totally sucks.

After work, I'm watching the Chris Reeve Tribute show again. Had her in it singing.

Dana Reeve(1961-2006)

Actress/singer Dana Reeve, widow of the late Christopher Reeve passed away last night after her battle with lung cancer. She was 45. My thoughts and prayers go out to their family and friends.

Sad news indeed.

TopGun March 8th, 2006 03:26 AM

Indeed, well at least she'll be with Christopher now

Darrell Lawrence March 9th, 2006 01:27 AM

I just realized something- 6 years ago to the day John Colicos also passed away.

gmd3d March 9th, 2006 03:31 AM

was it 6 years ago . Gods !!

Both Dana and Christopher were an inspiration and a force for good, rare examples of true humanity, intelligent, articulate and focussed.

My thoughts are with their son, who I think is only 13. A tough time to loose both your parents.

Dana made arrangements for their son to live with a family close by where they lived so the son would not have to re=adjust in making new friends, new school, etc.

I agree. It's always tough to lose one parent, but two in such a short period of time? :(

So sad

I was shocked when I heard about this. I didn't even know she was sick. That family has been through so much. Don't they have a teenage son? Poor little guy has lost both of his parents in a relatively short time. My heart goes out to him and the rest of his family. :(
