wonderfalls

Are any of you watching the new Fox Friday night series called "Wonderfalls"? I think it's quite funny.
I have tried and tried to watch "Joan of Arcadia" and "Tru Calling" but just couldn't get into either of those series and didn't have any sympathy for the characters. And the fact that both shows were filmed in black, gray and brown just made them so depressing. I actually had trouble seeing some of what was going on in "Tru Calling,"--it was so dark! "Wonderfalls" is a little better--although it still could be physically brighter looking than it is.
All three series are very similar--young cynical woman with long dark straight hair and lots of slacker friends and relatives starts getting messages from places she shouldn't be getting messages from.

I watched the re-showing of Wonderfall on a different night, I liked it, I don't think I have laughed so much at a TV show lately, but I haven't been able to catch it at it's regular friday time. I also like Tru Calling, I don't find it dark though. The newer episodes have gotten better and have building more of a past for Tru.

I wasn't sure if I liked it at first, but I think it has grown on me. The last ep I saw with the escaped nun & the exorcism had me ROTFLMAO! Hopefully, it will be given a chance, but Friday on a minor network is a bit of a death knell.
