Who is actually looking to get a uniform?

Resources are opening up quite a bit both here and over seas. I'm not sure if all of them would want me to post openly about their services and put them in competition with each other...but drop me a line and I'll do my best to point you in the right direction!:salute:

You know man...it is a good thing to have more than one resource...and those we are talking too are real good creators of the uniforms. There is no way that any "one" of them would be able to handle numerous requests so the more makers available the better for everyone.

In fact I am sure those who are real good at making the uniforms are greatful for the exposure and the wise ones know that no one person can do it all.

I am looking for a good sewing pattern of the derned thing, as the ready made costumes are just too goll monging EXPENSIVE.

They are beautiful to look at, both on the website and in person, but I do NOT have that kind of money this year.

How IS that pattern coming along?

Stop by Blackstar Squadron. We just approved a member who made his entire costume from scratch. give him a yell, see what he has to offer.

He made pretty much everything but the boots and the actual web belts. He scratch built his own laser, his cylinders and everything! Pretty ambitious. It turned out quite good.

I sent him a message on that forum, but he hasn't replied yet.

He did a GREAT job on his uniform. It looks even better than the ones used in the series!

Well, I was looking to have a uniform, BUT with my truck getting whacked and a few other untimely finances, I can't afford one right now :(

Boots? Try ebay for Sidi fullbores. Sometimes there are boots that can be used and look pretty good if fixed up even though they may not be Sidis. But be vigilant and we can try to help out when we can over at Blackstar. We post up boots for sale whenever we see a pair on ebay...

Re: Who is actually looking to get a uniform?

Alright, put this on the wrong thread the first time but...

I'm a seamstress and I have a pattern for the Viper Jacket. Its one I've been working on for a while and finally have it where I want it to be. I've just mocked it up to this point with inexpensive material but it comes together well.

I'm going to be making several of these over the next few months and am going to make a detailed log of how to put them together with photos and written descriptions.

Why I'm going into all of this is that if you want a copy of the pattern, let me know. I have one condition to sending you the pattern, that is, if you find someone else who is looking for one, you pass it on to them NO CHARGE and I will do the same with any of you.

Anyone wanting to dress up and have fun should be able to do it. If your a seamstress and want to the use this pattern to make some money, go for it. Not everyone can sew and I completely understand the large amount of time involved in making costumes/uniforms.

This is a good pattern and should be easy to follow. If your interested and need a copy, please let me know.
