I loved Doctor WHO! I'm angry that because of a COPYRIGHT infringement issue
they can't use the DALEKS in the remake. I also liked the LEELA character in
the Dr. Who eps too

Shining Star,,,,

I wasn't too keen on Leela after she shot me in the back,
but we did have a laugh years later when I met Louise again on EastEnders,,

So, are you going to stay out of the "who said it?" thread owing to an unfair advantage?

harryfielder September 22nd, 2004 11:35 PM

That show was called Randall and Hopkirk (deceaced) 1969)

I got this pic from Sue in the USA Star Wars 1977,,,

Wow! You got to wear Emperial Black! I think that's pretty nifty. Star Wars was one of those culture changing films.:D

SS, I think he would be more than welcome to join in as we are doing such a lousy job of guessing some of these! We need all the help we can get at times! :D

Wow that is so great! How was it being with James Earl Jones when he was in the darth vader costume?

Flamingo Girl September 23rd, 2004 10:53 AM

Ok, now THAT is funny!

Dawg September 23rd, 2004 11:21 AM

Um, hun, James Earl Jones only did the voice. Another actor wore the suit (whose name escapes me at the moment).

Wow, Aitch...you are actually a part of history...Many of us would love to be that lucky!

kingfish September 23rd, 2004 05:54 PM

Harry have you ever heard of Steve Valentine from Crossing Jordan fame? IMHO he is one fine up ad coming British actor of this day. He plays Nigel Townsend on the show.

Morning all

I know this might sound vain but when we did Star Wars in 1977 (see web 1977)
I tried to get off the show because I'd just finished a few weeks on Doctor Who and didn't want to get into space gear again,
(Little did I know how big Star Wars would be)

When I think back now I used to get up in the mornings and travel to some studios to play at ''Cops and Robbers'' or something then travel back home for my dinner with the wife and 3 kids,,
(What a silly way to get a living),,(But I'm glad I did it)

Aitch,,,,,
