I've got to agree, the movie era Ent is by far my favorite of all the designs.

As much as I love Trek, my heart goes to the Original Battlestar. It is truly magnificent.

That's pretty cool looking. :salute:
Is the scale on that right? You can see where the station overlaps the Enterprise, and it seems like Ent should be in front not behind. With it behind, the stations look a lot smaller.

I am not sure about the size of the station : But I arranged it so thatthe Enterprise is moving alonside and behind the station .
On the station you can see what I think are the travel pods hatchs and you can compare them to the Enterprise

Yeah, I see what you're talking about. Something about the lighting or positioning makes me think that the Ent and the station are basically equal distance from the camera, but using the airlock doors for the travel pods for scale, the Enterprise is significantly farther away.

Just pretend like I didn't say anything :D

I have to say, I think this might be your most realistic looking image yet. I like the way the station looks like how we might really expect to see it. And nice touch using the nebula in the background to silouette the station. Pulls it together nicely. :thumbsup:

features I run out of power :mad: . I am looking into getting a more powerful PC.

Thanks JJR. The Enterprise is easy to work with I have added as mush detail as I am capable off at the moment .. I want to get the feel right more then the detailing .. I not going to get that yet .

The shuttlecraft don't look right size wise for some reason... I think they're to big in relation to the enterprise.

Love the glow from the dome and the enterprise.

Overall I like it.

No to be honest No .. :D I planed the picture as a solar evac ... the Enterpries cannot use its transporters because of incresed solar activity. But the cause of the evac I have not desided on at all. One idea is the moon or astroid is been pulled into the star.. or there is a problem on the base itself or the atmosphere is leaking into space from the dome..

hey Taranis, this is the best lighting yet on one of your pics. I really like the way you lit the Enterprise, looks great. Like Shugo said, the scale of either the Enterprise or the shuttle gets lost at the moment, but other than that it looks very nice.

Well, my first thought was the Space:1999 episode The Last Sunset, where aliens give the Moon an atmosphere. Just curious.
