Finally Lexa fans, after hearing for years that SG1 wanted Lexa Doig on the

show....they finally got her for the new Doctor in SG1. She will also be related

to Bridges' new character as his daughter.

Lexa is probably the first of the Andromeda cast to win another role outside

the show before it's series finale airs in the US.

I believe so. I think I read a post here somewhere that they recently had a baby.

They have only showed her from the shoulders up on Andromeda

They are Married and they have a Daughter, Mia Tabitha Shanks born September 13, 2004
