View Full Version : Bad news about the 12" figures...

I was just contacted by the manager of my local comics/collectibles shop here in Columbia. He informed me that they wouldn't be able to order the 12" figures because Majestic is only selling them in some huge $500 casepack. In other words, they can't take the risk that they will be left holding onto a lot of unsold figures (I had ordered two of each). He also added that this is the only situation he can recall where 12" figures have come in such a huge case number. Hopefully, Suncoast will get them. Otherwise, I guess i'll have to pay double on eBay for them.

Tell him to hook up with all of the local shops and go in on a case.

Now might be a good time to write Walmart to carry the figures.

There has to be some online merchants who will be carrying these things at a decent price, no?

Walmart won't carry these on such short notice. Besides, they determine their shelf line-up months in advance and stick to solid toy lines (like Hasbro, Mattel). Look for the figures in brick-and-mortar stores (Suncoast) and online. That's your best bet.

Walmart could never distribute such an item effectively.
The production run is limited, and Walmart has no real way of knowing what stores to stock them at to sell.
Online ordering is the cure-all for this.
